opening night and now i am home again



bob and jaime of transit antenna made the drive up for the openingseth curcio and bob playing jenga with the sculpture trying to find the one stick that makes the piece fall
my mother father grandmother, brooke's mother, father and brother all made the trip out for the opening
some of the youth percussion ensemble who performed at the opening
my mom providing tours of the shadows cast on the wall by the piece
Thanks to everyone especially the sumter county cultural council, peggy and booth chilcutt, Martha Greenway,karen of the sumter gallery, scotty peek, audrey, bubba, david shoemacker and the entire sumter community for supporting this residency of course a huge thank you to Brooke, my friends and my family who made the 1.5 hour drive for the opening. And now on to the next challenge, getting another batch of applications off in a timely manner and returning to work in the studio after six weeks of residencies. Oh and only 28 days until i leave for the vermont studio center.
