6 days until thesis, and my camera broke

Building crates is so much better than making art, because it means the art I made is going on an adventure "godspeed little doodle"- ned flanders

well my trusty powershot a95 broke and I had to send it in, but fortunately Keay edwards at the sjsu digital lab is willing to lend me a camera to document the installation of abandon all hope. I have been really busy crateing work for the rust never sleeps show that I almost forgot I ahve to install this weekend, I am looking forward to it. in the meantime here are some pictures of the lovely crates I built which are works of art in and of themselves. also lately I have been thinking alot about what to do next year. 2006 has been such a whirlwind of art related activities that I think I might be best served to focus on wedding plans and the possibility of taking that year off I always swore I was going to take. Now that I am approaching my goal of getting an mfa by the time I am 30, I am begining to think about the possibility that I might want a phd by the time I am 40, just a thought.
