the fliers have arrived for thesis show and now I just have to work really hard on my north carolina show, unfortunately this weekend I have to go to santa monica and the venice beach area and if I am lucky brooke and I will have dinner in LA

This is some stuff I got for 5 dollars at the goodwill bargain barn, whic h is not an anish kapoor


so it is one thing to say I am going to make 100 somethings to give away at my thesis opening, but it is another thing to carry through with it. The edition is almost finished and I think it will give people an extra incentive to come see my show, I ordered the fliers yesterday and have been polishing my statement. with thesis out of the way i can concentrate on the show at the university of North carolina Greensboro which has been scheduled for december 5th- jan 10. i really appreciate phoebe from the gallery there asking me to do the show it will give me a chance to present several of the rust on paper work, together with som rusty objects, also with any luck I will get to make some new work just for that show. if you haven't already head on over to the bob log and see the amazing pictures from his recent piece in the deitch art parade,i wish I could of been there.

print proof, roots crew rocked the roof, and the debut of beat master brooke

brooke and I saw the world famous roots crew last night in an outdoor concert that was great. I managed to finish the proofing the print today a 2-color lithograph explaining how the internet works and loosely based on the saul steinberg's view of the world from 9th street , and I got my new roland spd-11 synced up with the drum bank in my laptop, at which point brooke promptly took the helm and threw down her best hip-hop beats. The drum machine is great believe it or not it was free someone was throwing it away, and there is nothing wrong with it.

Proofed the first color of a new lithograph and more video of krispy kreme adventure

I proofed the first color today for a new print and had a relatively uneventful day at work. Tommorow I will finish the print and post pictures of it here, in the meantime enjoy more video of me enjoying a krispy kreme.
